The new Starbucks Frappuccino is delighting fans of the ice-blended drink with its ‘double dose of mocha sauce’ but its sweet indulgence comes at a price.

A grande serving of the Double Double Fudge Bar Frappuccino with whole milk and whipped cream has an enormous 67g of sugar – the equivalent of nearly 17 teaspoons – nearly triple the recommended daily allowance.

The decadent drink, which has been compared to a liquid Fudgsicle, contains vanilla syrup, coffee and milk blended with ice and topped with ‘chocolaty whipped cream’.
