Frequent drinkers may feel completely in control after a couple of pints.
It is fairly common knowledge that those who drink regularly develop a greater alcohol tolerance than those who only drink alcohol occasionally.
Yet, a new study has shown experienced drinkers struggle just as much as those who lightly indulge when it comes to their motor speed skills, short-term memory and complex processing.
They also reported lower self-perceived impairment than light drinkers, which may result in them engaging in more risky behaviours while drunk.
