Smoking Marijuana May Boost Stroke Risk

People use marijuana because they choose to get high on THC, a psychoactive component responsible for feelings of euphoria, feeling of bliss, excess hunger and many other effects attributed to the cannabis plant. Researchers analyzed hospitalization of more than two million marijuana users ages 18-84 and found a higher risk of stroke compared to non-users.
