Child COVID-19 cases continue to tick up with weekly infections increasing to 122,000 – up 13% compared to the previous week – BUT deaths and hospitalizations remain below 1%

COVID-19 cases among children are continuing to rise as the U.S. heads towards the holiday season, a new report finds.

A total of 122,229 kids tested positive for the virus during the week that ended on November 11, according to the American Academy and Pediatrics (AAP). 

That figure is a 13 percent increase from the 107,000 cases recorded the previous week and a 22 percent increase over the past two weeks.
