COVID-19 drugs made from two types of antibodies protected mice and hamsters against highly infectious variants, study finds

A COVID-19 drug made from a ‘cocktail’ of two types of antibodies were effective against coronavirus variants, a new study suggests.

Researchers found that combining two of three monoclonal antibodies made by Eli Lilly & Co, Regeneron or Vir Biotechnology Inc were effective more infectious strains first identified in the UK, South Africa, Brazil and India.
