Yet, few will use the word ‘depressed’ to describe their turmoil.
Teens are much more likely to use terms such as ‘stressed’ or ‘down’, a study reveals.
Study author Dr Daniela DeFrino, assistant professor of research, University of Illinois, said: ‘Much of what a teen is feeling and experiencing is easy to attribute to the ups and downs of teen angst.
