I visited Denver last week and it was the first time I saw a man with such a big beer gut that he needed a gut suspender to hold it up. I am not kidding. Nothing like the the old saying that “necessity is the mother of invention” Here in Canada we have a lot of overweight people, but there is definitely a correlation with beer gut and the strength of a drawl in the accent. Perhaps if Americans would say Eh more they would shed some pounds. Take care enjoy listening to your show. Very informative.
