Dear Dr. Martin,

I tried it! The Co-enzyme Q10. I tried to call in to your program to relay my positive experience, but the radio station didn’t get you on till 8:15 or so Pacific time and by then there was no answer on your line. I felt an “effect” about 15 minutes after taking it. Felt like I was breathing deeper or something. Our 20 mile run route took us from 3900 feet up to 6500 or so at the Timberline Lodge located on Mt. Hood. Funny to come running out of the tree line and there are skiers out enjoying their day on the glacier. Anyway, I experienced NO usual altitude sickness symptoms at all. I felt energized the whole trip up and most of the way back. (was dealing with a monthly female thing that zapped some of my strength). I am anxious to try it again. It made me feel so good, I’ve been researching it on the Internet and trying to determine if I could take a smaller dose for regular training runs at lower elevations. Any suggestions on daily intake dosage? If you are able to respond to this email, some personal stats may be helpful: 48 yrs young, 105 to 108 lbs, 5′ 2″, run 7-9 miles twice a week and 15 to 25 miles once a week unless I’m racing the 50k. I would like to do the 50 miler on 8-12, but may race the 50k option instead and go for time. I am going to call the radio station on Monday and complain about them messing up your broadcast this morning. My Sunday’s are not the same without you. Been trying to get onto your Web site also today and it’s not coming up either. I’ve taken enough of your time. Thank you so much for your help!

Sincerely,

Melissa B.
