Huge increase in Alzheimer’s-related deaths in the first few months of 2017, CDC report reveals

There has been a huge spike in Alzheimer’s-related deaths in 2017 compared to the previous year, a new report reveals.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a report that shows the number of deaths linked to different diseases since 2015.

The report showed that in the first quarter of 2017 there were 1.13 times as many deaths caused by Alzheimer’s disease compared with the first quarter 2016.
