More than 4,000 pounds of beef patties recalled in Iowa and Wisconsin over metal contamination fears

Thousands of pounds of beef patties have been recalled due to a possible metal contamination, health officials announced Monday.

OSI Industries, LLC, based in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, recalled 4,218 pounds of ready-to-eat beef patties over fears they ‘may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal’, according to a notice from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Health officials say no one has reported any ‘adverse reactions’ yet from consuming the patties.
