Marijuana use among college students hits 35-year high and twice as many now VAPE it despite warnings vitamin E in pot e-liquids may cause new lung disease

US college students are using more marijuana than undergrads have in 35 years, according to a report released Thursday.

The rate of undergrads vaping cannabis doubled between 2017 and 2018 – a worrying trend amid recent scientist’ warnings the a vitamin E derivative in THC e-liquids may be to blame for some of the 450 suspected e-cig lung illnesses.

About 43 percent of full-time college students said they used some form of pot at least once in the past year, up from 38 percent, and about 25 percent said they did so in the previous month, up from 21 percent, a University of Michigan survey found.
