Researchers reviewed a database of food intake information from more than 10,000 middle-aged U.S. adults who were monitored for nearly 30 years. The goal was to see if there existed, a possible link between consumption of high fiber rich carbohydrates versus animal rich saturated fat and heart disease risk or reduction.
