Taking antibiotics uneccesarily not only promotes antibiotic resistance, but also wipes out the ability of the human body to fight against getting sick with influenza. Research carried out by the Francis Crick Institute; a biomedical research Centre in London has led scientists to discover how over-prescribing of antibiotics may be responsible for a great number of deaths due to influenza.
