Divorced or Separated Parents Perpetuate Overweight Children

An estimated 160 million Americans are either obese or overweight? Obesity affects 17% of all children and adolescents in the United States, which is three times the prevalence from just one generation ago. Nearly 32% of children and adolescents are either overweight or obese. Data was taken from the Millennium Cohort Study indicates, that children of divorced or separated parents are more likely to become overweight, according to research. WHY?
